the challenge

Sri Lanka's travel market sells packages. The Ceylon Envoy sells access: bespoke private journeys that stop being bespoke the moment they are put behind a booking engine.

the approach

An enquiry-led site rather than a transactional one. Journeys are organised by region and experiences by pillar, so a visitor arrives at the conversation with a shape already in mind rather than a cart.

The FAQ carries the logistics that would otherwise fill a first call (timelines, customisation, pricing posture) so the enquiry starts further along.

Questions about who built this

Is Augmara a Sri Lankan software development company?

Yes. Augmara (Private) Limited is registered in Sri Lanka; most of its clients are not. Ceylon Envoy is a Sri Lankan brand and Autara is Australian, and we work with founders and teams across Australia, the US and the UK.

How do you compare software development companies in Sri Lanka?

Ask for one build you can inspect end to end rather than a list of logos, and ask who will actually write the code. We are deliberately small, so the person who scopes your build is the one who architects it, and delivery is senior-led with weekly demos.

What has the studio shipped recently?

Recent public work includes Ceylon Envoy and Thank God, both live in 2026. Autara, a two-sided marketplace across iOS, Android and web, has been in build for sixteen months, with 90+ automated tests on merchant onboarding alone.
